Italy Run London Terms and Conditions
Organiser Information The Italy Run London is organised by RunThrough Events, based at Unit 101/102 Image Court, 328-334 Molesey Road, Walton-On-Thames, Surrey, KT12 3PD. By entering the Italy Run London Half Marathon, you agree to the terms and conditions stated below. If you disagree with any of the terms, please do not enter. For any queries regarding these terms, contact us at [email protected]. RunThrough Events reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online.
Communication and Data Use By entering, you agree to receive emails from RunThrough Events with details of our events. Your email will not be shared with third parties unless requested.
Event Changes and Cancellation The organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel any event at short notice. This includes changes to race time, date, venue, fees, or prizes. In the event of cancellation beyond the organisers’ control, such as adverse weather or communicable diseases, attempts will be made to reschedule the event with automatic entry transfer. If rescheduling is not possible, committed contractors will be paid and remaining funds will be offered as partial refunds or donated to charity. Participants who choose not to race in a non-cancelled or non-rescheduled event are not entitled to a refund.
Refunds and Transfers By signing, you agree to our no refunds policy. If you cannot attend and contact us within 14 days of the event, you may transfer your entry to a friend, another event, or receive store credit for a future event, subject to a £5 admin fee. Flexi Package holders can make unlimited changes to their entry up to 24 hours before the event without this fee.
Age Requirements Minimum ages for entry: 11 years for a 5k, 15 years for a 10k, and 17 years for a half marathon. The organisers reserve the right to exclude participants acting inappropriately or causing safety concerns without refund. Participants must abide by race rules set by organisers, including medical staff, police, and race stewards, as well as affiliated organisations England Athletics and UK Athletics.
Health and Safety Participants accept the risks associated with the physical strain of the event. By entering, participants confirm they are fit and healthy enough to compete and will not hold the organisers responsible for health issues arising during or after the event. The organisers are not responsible for the loss or damage of personal equipment left unattended.
Image Use Participants agree to allow RunThrough to use any images obtained on the day on their website or to distribute to third parties.
Supporting Charities We aim to provide a secure place for you to register for charity events. We will ask for personal information to pass on to the charity or event you are interested in. Data is held only as long as the charity is part of our program and is managed by a trusted partner.
Data Protection We do not sell your personal information. Your data will only be sent to the following upon your explicit instructions:
- A charity you have explicitly permitted to have your data
- A charity selected by our partner based on your explicit event or challenge request
- A partner providing a benefit or service to aid you or the charity you support
By giving your details to a charity, you consent to them or their appointed agency contacting you about the event or similar events that may interest you.
Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the Law of England & Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts of England & Wales.
