London’s Air Ambulance delivers a doctor-led trauma team by helicopter and rapid response car to critically injured patients across London, bringing hospital-level care directly to the scene in minutes when time is critical. Our teams provide advanced life-saving interventions, such as open chest surgery and blood transfusions at incidents like road traffic collisions, falls, stabbings, and shootings, serving the 10 million people who live, work, and travel within the M25. Operating 24/7 and reliant on public support, we aim to save lives and improve outcomes for patients in the most serious emergencies.
